My name is Tinotenda Gunha, and Nails by T is the living testimony of what happens when relentless passion meets unshakeable faith. From a very young age, I was mesmerized by how beauty and cosmetics could transform a person’s inner spirit. I saw how a woman who walked in feeling exhausted or overlooked could look down at immaculate, sculpted hands and instantly hold her head higher, smiling with renewed self-worth.
The road to establishing this studio was not paved with ease. In the beginning, I had only a modest table, a few essential polishes, and long nights where my back ached and self-doubt whispered that the market was already crowded. There were days of financial strain, late-night cancellations, and tears shed in quiet corners. But giving up was never an option.
Every trial was merely preparation. Every hurdle was teaching my hands precision and teaching my soul perseverance.
With every obstacle, I leaned into God's promise. Armed with prayer, unwavering grit, and an obsession with perfecting my craft, I pressed forward until God opened the doors to our sanctuary on the 18th Floor of Karigamombe Centre (Room 4).
Today, when you sit in my chair, you aren’t just getting acrylics, Gel-X, or a fresh pedicure. You are stepping into a space curated with love, dignity, and warmth. I pour my heart into every cuticle, every brush stroke, and every rhinestone, because I know what it means to build something meaningful from the ground up.
